Sunday Morning Worship

As we head into the Lenten season, we will spend the month of March looking at the sacrifice of Jesus. This week we will see Jesus as the Lamb. Throughout Old Testament history we see the use of lambs as sacrifices, paying for the sins of man. The problem is that no matter how much bllod was shed, the blood of the lambs only provided a temporary solution to sin's permanent consequences. So, Jesus the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, did what no lamb could ever do; provide a permanent solution to a permanent problem.
