Sunday Morning Worship

In one of the three greatest I AM statements recorded for us by John, Jesus says that He is the Good Shpeherd who came to lay down His life for His sheep. Many Hebrew people believed that the Messiah would come in as a great commander, overthrowing the Roman government. It was this kind of thinking that lead so many to not recognize Jesus as the Suffering Servant. If we are not careful ourselves, we can lose sight of the Good Shepherd who laid down His life so we coul gain ours.
