Sunday Morning Worship

Waiting; as much as we dislike it, it is part of everyday life. What about when we have to wait in God? I mean, God said let there be light and immediately the sun appeared. Ever wish He would do the same thing with your prayers? As much as we hate to wait, God makes us wait on purpose for a purpose. It's not that He doesn't want to bless us, He wants to change us as well. Mary and Martha told Jesus that Lazarus was ill; Jesus received the message, and stayed where He was for two extra days. When He arrived in Bethany, He was met with all kinds of responses. But, we can learn something from Martha who said, "Even now I KNOW that whatever you ask of God, He will answer you." So, the question becomes, DO YOU KNOW? Knowing that God's timing is for His glory brings us a peace that surpasses all understanding.
